Yeah but the "daytime" missions in the game are usually boring as hell and it takes forever to earn credits....

Dude, you gotta learn the cheat codes...

TAXCHEAT - Get about 25% more credits for each hour of grind.
WELFARE - Not a very good cheat. You get a few credits every scene, but it keeps you stuck in a low credit cycle forever.
DINEANDDASH - Don't have to pay for food
MOMSBASEMENT - Don't have to pay for lodging, but you never get to meet the female characters.
STEALIT - Get stuff for free.
MUGMAN - Take credits from other players.
EMBEZZLE - Get LOTS of extra credits for each hour of grind.
COLLEGE - Works sometimes, doesn't others. You still have to grind, but you get more credits per hour as time goes on.
IMAPHB - Have to wait a few chapters after you use the COLLEGE cheat. It only lasts for awhile before you get found out and booted, but you rake in the credits until then.

The problem is that system has methods to track many of these cheats, and the methods of punishment for cheating is even harsher than Steam's.
