Why, then I'd have to turn in my "gamer" card and live out my life without ever seeing my parents' basement again. Spend the time I would play helping others? I spend a third of my time sleeping and a third of my time paying my rent and shit. Why don't we take some of these unemployed fuckos on welfare and shit, and have them help others? How about prisoners? Let's teach them some construction skills and have them build low-income housing. There's a ton of people sitting around with their thumbs in their collective asses doing NOTHING. Personally, I work, and I would like to have a little reward for that.

I'm not saying I shouldn't help people. As a minor example, I just gave blood yesterday, so obviously I believe in some kind of charity. But after I have to take care of the things I have to take care of, I barely have energy left to have fun, let alone go save the children.

Ultimately, I think we can all make a big difference if we're just more careful about where we spend our money. Just supporting local businesses goes a long way towards making the world a better place.
