RIAA Says CDs Should Cost MoreSubmitted by xIcemanx on February 7, 2007 - 10:20am.
Re:My eyebrows are raised.... It also strikes me as absurd, that I can buy a DVD of a movie in a store for $10-$20, and look over to the left and see a CD of the soundtrack for that movie for $18. Did all those people who took the pretty moving pictures cost nothing? Were the actors free? How can the soundtrack be considered to have equal value to the entire movie? |
Absurd
I've always wondered that myself. People must realize the price comparison. And if so, why does anyone purchase the soundtrack? If no one purchased the soundtrack the prices would probably drop, but people are actually buying them. Strange.
